A Level 1 Chimney Inspection is our standard, routine safety check - perfect if your chimney system hasn’t changed and you’re using the same appliance (fireplace, stove, etc.) as before. This inspection meets NFPA 211 guidelines and is ideal for annual maintenance.
What We Do:
Visually inspect the readily accessible parts of your chimney: both the exterior and interior.
Check your fireplace or stove connection, firebox, and damper (if accessible).
Evaluate the basic structural integrity of the chimney and flue — making sure there are no visible cracks, deterioration, or missing components.
Verify the flue is clear of obstructions, such as debris or nesting material.
Look for hazardous buildup of combustible deposits (like soot or creosote) that could pose a fire risk.
Confirm the appliance-to-chimney connection is properly installed and safe.
